Led by Rochester-based singer-songwriter Neil Van Dorn, NVD delivers a dynamic, groove-driven blend of Indie-Folk, Americana and improvisational Rock - drawing on the melodic craft of John Mayer, the rhythmic sensibility of Dave Matthews Band, and the laid-back warmth of Jack Johnson. A staple of the Finger Lakes scence since 2014, NVD plays 40+ shows a year across breweries, wineries and lakeside venues in the Greater Rochester region, with original songs and reimagined covers that shift seamlessly - Bob Marley into the Beatles, Chris Stapleton in Sublime - so no two sets feel the same.
